This organization is named the Petroleum Engineering Student Association of Universitas Pertamina, abbreviated as HMTM UP. HMTM UP is based in the Faculty of Exploration and Production Technology, under the Petroleum Engineering Study Program. Members of HMTM are undergraduate students from the Petroleum Engineering Study Program.
The main activities of HMTM UP involve organizing both on-campus and off-campus events that consistently deliver positive impacts.

To establish HMTM Universitas Pertamina as a unifying platform and a means to enhance the quality of human resources in Petroleum Engineering at Universitas Pertamina.
