1. To create an academic environment for education and scientific development with world-class quality through the efforts, dedication, and roles of the Faculty.
2. To support the strengthening of Pertamina University's status as a world-class research-based university aiming to become an entrepreneurial university by 2035.
3. To enhance the academic and professional capabilities of the academic community through:
- Doctoral education programs for staff who do not yet hold a doctoral degree, so that at least 30% of the teaching staff hold or are pursuing a doctoral degree.
- Conducting research activities that serve as the foundation and motivation for implementing education and community service activities.
- Expanding the horizons of academic and professional achievements by participating in seminars, conferences, workshops, or short courses.
4. To improve the quality of the teaching and learning process:
- Conducting periodic reviews of curriculum content in line with technological advancements and scientific developments from various sources.
- Striving for higher quality teaching activities by updating teaching materials—syllabi, lecture event units (SAP), lecture materials, assignments, exams, reference books, lecture notes—as well as discipline in teaching, regularity in the implementation of teaching or responses.
- Ensuring the quality of teaching through appropriate teaching processes, such as a combination of lectures by senior and junior lecturers, parallel lectures assigned by the Faculty.
- Encouraging teaching staff to conduct tutorial activities and assignments with the involvement of assistants or junior lecturers.
- Writing textbooks and lecture notes for the courses taught.
- Enhancing discipline and monitoring systems in the teaching-learning process, such as lecturers themselves supervising during exams.
- Developing knowledge and finding solutions to the problems faced by Indonesia and the world in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
- Improving the facilities supporting education and the ability to maintain them by optimally revitalizing each work unit:
- Administrative and Faculty Offices: adequate facilities, good administrative systems, and improving the quality and quantity of administrative staff to support educational program activities.
- Laboratories: opportunities for renewal or addition of equipment and facilities, maintenance, and supporting technical staff.
- Library: increasing journal subscriptions, purchasing books as needed, expanding library space, and adding supporting facilities (such as bookshelves and reading tables).
- Building facilities: improving educational facilities, teaching aids, and communication network systems for the operational efficiency of study programs.
- Workshop: providing a workshop as a support unit in research and as part of the learning process for extracurricular student education.
5. To improve the welfare of Human Resources (HR) within FP-UP through various efforts and performance-based activities.
