Vision

In line with the vision of Pertamina University, the vision of the Faculty of Infrastructure Planning at Pertamina University is to become a leading Faculty of Infrastructure Planning, part of a World-Class University, with a focus on the Energy sector by the year 2035 at the latest.






Mission

The mission of the Faculty of Infrastructure Planning, in accordance with the Statute of Pertamina University and its Mission, is as follows:
1. To provide high-quality higher education with a global perspective in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and inclusively in infrastructure technology, primarily related to the energy industry and the conservation of the built environment.
2. To actively contribute to addressing national challenges in infrastructure and environmental technology related to energy exploration, exploitation, and conservation.
3. To implement and support research and development programs that benefit the development of Indonesia and the world and/or contribute to the advancement of science.
4. To participate in building the nation’s character through an academic culture that is virtuous, innovative, and professional.
5. To provide expertise and knowledge services to the government, industry, and other national and global institutions professionally and responsibly.



Goals

The strategic goal of the Faculty of Infrastructure Planning at Pertamina University (FP-UP) is to support the vision and mission of Pertamina University as a World-Class University by strengthening human resources and the infrastructure supporting academic activities, such as laboratories, involvement in international activities, and achieving good national accreditation as formal recognition.


Strategy

1. To create an academic environment for education and scientific development with world-class quality through the efforts, dedication, and roles of the Faculty.
2. To support the strengthening of Pertamina University's status as a world-class research-based university aiming to become an entrepreneurial university by 2035.
3. To enhance the academic and professional capabilities of the academic community through:
   - Doctoral education programs for staff who do not yet hold a doctoral degree, so that at least 30% of the teaching staff hold or are pursuing a doctoral degree.
   - Conducting research activities that serve as the foundation and motivation for implementing education and community service activities.
   - Expanding the horizons of academic and professional achievements by participating in seminars, conferences, workshops, or short courses.
4. To improve the quality of the teaching and learning process:
   - Conducting periodic reviews of curriculum content in line with technological advancements and scientific developments from various sources.
   - Striving for higher quality teaching activities by updating teaching materials—syllabi, lecture event units (SAP), lecture materials, assignments, exams, reference books, lecture notes—as well as discipline in teaching, regularity in the implementation of teaching or responses.
   - Ensuring the quality of teaching through appropriate teaching processes, such as a combination of lectures by senior and junior lecturers, parallel lectures assigned by the Faculty.
   - Encouraging teaching staff to conduct tutorial activities and assignments with the involvement of assistants or junior lecturers.
   - Writing textbooks and lecture notes for the courses taught.
   - Enhancing discipline and monitoring systems in the teaching-learning process, such as lecturers themselves supervising during exams.
   - Developing knowledge and finding solutions to the problems faced by Indonesia and the world in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
   - Improving the facilities supporting education and the ability to maintain them by optimally revitalizing each work unit:
      - Administrative and Faculty Offices: adequate facilities, good administrative systems, and improving the quality and quantity of administrative staff to support educational program activities.
      - Laboratories: opportunities for renewal or addition of equipment and facilities, maintenance, and supporting technical staff.
      - Library: increasing journal subscriptions, purchasing books as needed, expanding library space, and adding supporting facilities (such as bookshelves and reading tables).
      - Building facilities: improving educational facilities, teaching aids, and communication network systems for the operational efficiency of study programs.
      - Workshop: providing a workshop as a support unit in research and as part of the learning process for extracurricular student education.
5. To improve the welfare of Human Resources (HR) within FP-UP through various efforts and performance-based activities.

Program Studi Teknik Sipil Universitas Pertamina memiliki sejumlah keunggulan, antara lain:

  1. Metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada pembelajaran (student centered learning) seperti problem-based learning dan project-based learning.
  2. Staf pengajar merupakan lulusan terbaik dari kampus terkemuka dalam dan luar negeri serta praktisi yang memiliki pengalaman di bidang infrastruktur energi (industri).
  3. Kurikulum disusun berdasarkan akreditasi internasional ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
  4. Materi perkuliahan yang diajarkan, tidak hanya infrastruktur atau struktur bangunan di darat (onshore) namun juga struktur lepas pantai (offshore).

Environmental Engineering

Keunggulan dari Program Studi S1 Teknik Lingkungan Universitas Pertamina adalah sebagai berikut:

  1. Desain Kurikulum berdasarkan Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) dan mengacu pada akreditasi internasional Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
  2. Bekal kemampuan dan pengetahuan khusus mengenai Energi dan Lingkungan serta Pengantar Teknologi dan Bisnis Energi sebagai dasar pengenalan pembentukan berbagai macam sumber energi, pengembangan energi mulai dari eksplorasi, eksploitasi hingga bisnis energi, energi baru dan terbarukan serta energi berbasis lingkungan.
  3. Sistem pembelajaran berbasis student-centered learning dan project-integrated learning yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran akademik di kelas dengan keterlibatan mahasiswa pada dunia praktis melalui kerja praktek/magang. Mata kuliah Berpikir Kritis, Berpikir Solusi Kreatif, dan Proyek Terintegrasi Berbasis Lingkungan diberikan untuk mengasah kemampuan/peranan mahasiswa teknik lingkungan dalam berkolaborasi dengan berbagai disiplin ilmu guna merumuskan dan memecahkan suatu permasalahan secara terintegrasi dan profesional.
  4. Ketersediaan fasilitas milik PT. Pertamina (Persero) untuk digunakan mahasiswa dalam mengeksplorasi kegiatan pembelajaran maupun untuk kepentingan riset, serta pengembangan ilmu dari dosen tamu/bantuan pengajaran dari praktisi PT. Pertamina yang akan membantu mahasiswa untuk memahami kondisi nyata di industri.
