Prof. Dr. techn. Djoko Triyono

Prof. Dr. techn. Djoko Triyono, S.Si., M.Si, pursued his doctoral studies at the Institute für Festkörperphysik, Technische Universität Wien (TUVienna) with a focus on physics. Prof. Djoko is a lecturer and professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the University of Indonesia (UI).

Before serving as the Vice Rector for Research, Development, and Cooperation at Pertamina University, he held the position of Head of the World Class University (WCU) Working Team and Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Student Affairs at FMIPA UI from 2018 to 2022.

Prof. Djoko is also actively involved in collaborative projects. In 2022, he contributed to research aimed at creating humidity and gas sensor products based on the functional material Lanthanum Ortho Ferrite. He was involved in CAIPSDCC (Collaborative Australia Indonesia Program on Sustainable Development and Climate Change) from 2018 to 2021. In 2017, Prof. Djoko participated in the Newton Fund: UK-South Asia Researchers Networking Workshop "Understanding the Impact of Hydrometeorological Hazards in Southeast Asia." He was also involved in the ASDS (Asian Dean's Science Summits) in 2017, which is a collaboration among Deans of Science in Asia.

His active engagement in research has earned him several awards, including a patent in 2020 for "Modified Circuit of Hybrid Zeolite Composite as an Ammonia Gas Sensor," Patent No.: IDP000069591. Additionally, in the same year, he received the 'Bright Scientist Above 40 Years – FMIPA UI' award for his dedication and integrity in advancing research and innovation.
