"As an alumnus of Logistics Engineering at Pertamina University, there are 2 most memorable things that I have learned during my studies, namely International Exposure and Life-long Learning Mindset.

I got a lot of International Exposure while studying at UPer, such as participating in an Internship at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology - Taipei 2018, participating in a scientific poster competition at Waseda University - Tokyo 2019, and participating in a business concept competition at SEASS - Singapore 2019. There I learned how to adapt and compete globally in the midst of the development of today's globalization era. As for the Life-long Learning Mindset, I got a lot from the Logistics Engineering Study Program. This study program focuses on system optimization and efficiency which really requires a mindset to continue learning and advancing as science and technology develops around us. These two things helped me to achieve my goal of being able to study and work in a global company, together with great people from different parts of the world. After graduating, I participated in an internship at the U.S. Embassy Jakarta for 3 months and now works at PT. Multi Bintang Indonesia (part of HEINEKEN Company) as Customer Service Administrator. I am in charge of taking care of the product distribution process of PT. Multi Star Indonesia both nationally and globally."

"After graduating from Geophysical Engineering UPer, I worked on one of the tutoring platforms, namely Zenius. Here I work as a content technology developer. For me, being a content technology developer is very fun because this job is in line with my hobby, which is coding using Python. In the Geophysical Engineering study program at Pertamina University, I was introduced to Python and its advantages of using it which is very simple compared to other programming languages. Seeing this potential, I was challenged to enter the world of programming with the guidance of Mr. @agusphd from Geophysical Engineering, Pertamina University. Here I learned a lot about how a programming application can be useful for daily life. In addition to needing patience, learning to code also requires precision, my friend! In the Geophysical Engineering Study Program, Pertamina University, I also learned a lot of applications of coding science for project activities in the project management course. In addition, there are many more applications of coding science taught at Geophysical Engineering at Pertamina University so that I am even more interested in knowing more about the world of coding."

"During my time as a student at Universitas Pertamina, I encountered a rich diversity of cultures and ethnicities, especially in the Environmental Engineering program, ranging from Aceh to NTT. Among the unique courses I took were Critical Thinking, Creative Problem Solving, and Preparing for the Workforce. At this UPer campus, I have been given extraordinary facilities in the world of research, such as the background of lecturers with foreign graduates which has changed my perspective in thinking, as well as the collaboration provided between the campus and other agencies. "Studying at Pertamina University has been one of the most enjoyable journeys of my life. I gained numerous experiences and encountered many interesting things that have greatly contributed to my maturation process, as well as the development of my soft skills and hard skills. The supportive social environment at Pertamina University (support from parents, friends, and lecturers) has allowed me to actively learn, engage in student associations, join student organizations, serve as a laboratory assistant, intern at companies, and participate in various competitions outside of Pertamina University. One of my best achievements was winning the award for Best Poster Design at the Southeast Asia Start-up Summit 2019 in Singapore, where my team and I designed a business model for a company packaging products made from biodegradable materials. "There are many challenges that UPer provides to students. The curriculum is international level and the assessment standards are very strict. It really helped me because the UPer lecturers were still young and competent and apart from having high hopes for students, they also guided me very well. One of the competitions I joined was LKKIUP 2016, which then led me to receive a scholarship at Pertamina University. "For me, Candradimuka Crater is the right term for UPer. Not only academic knowledge that I gained but I also gained capacity building and self-development during my 4 years of education at UPer. Being the first batch at UPer is a challenge in itself and a great opportunity for me to be able to explore myself, especially in the field of Student Organization. Having the opportunity to be the Chairman of the Environmental Engineering Student Association of Pertamina University (HMTL UP) for the 2018/2019 period as well as being the first Chairman of the Association provided a lot of learning about leadership and organizational management. In addition to the Student Organization, I also participated in POP UP, LIGHT UP, and LEAD UP activities which are a series of training and self-development programs for Pertamina University students. All the knowledge and experience I gained at UPer are provisions that I have brought with me in my career journey until now. After graduating from UPer, I had the opportunity to intern at a Startup engaged in waste management services called Rekosistem in the position of Operations Analyst. After that, I devoted myself to being an Engineering Field Facilitator for the Labor-Intensive Rural Sanitation Program at the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) for approximately one year. Being faced with the community directly is a challenge for me in carrying out this work. The communication skills I got at UPer are my main provision in carrying out this job. After this service, I joined a construction management and financial advisory consultant called PT Anagata Dhia Karya Mandiri (Adhikari) in the position of Junior Associate. Until finally I am currently working at PT PGAS Solution in the position of K3PL Officer."

"Being a part of Pertamina University is a valuable experience and pride for me. With adequate learning facilities and supported by competent teaching staff in their fields, it is able to become a source of knowledge for me to prepare myself for the professional world. One of the most memorable experiences for me during college was when I had the opportunity to participate in an internship program at the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) in a survey project to determine the submarine fiber optic cable line for the Krui-Pelabuhan Ratu-Cilacap segment using Side Scan Sonar, Sub Bottom Profiling , Gravity Core, and Multibeam Echosounder with the Baruna Jaya IV Research Ship survey vehicle. During the internship program, I studied Geophysics as applied in Hydrographic Surveys. And also through the community service program I feel that I can more easily empathize with the surrounding community and try to use my knowledge in UPer Mechanical Engineering to help solve problems that exist in society."

"Franky Michael H. Siagian succeeded in winning 6 (six) awards at the 2020 Energy Efficient Car Contest (KMHE) competition which was held from 26 to 30 November 2020. The Pertamina University team consisting of 6 students from the Faculty of Engineering, Pertamina University was divided into 2 (two) ) team, which took part in 2 different car design categories. The first team, namely the Nakoela Hore Team, competed in the prototype category of the gasoline Internal Combustion Motor (MPD) class and won an award 1st place in the prototype vehicle design model criteria, 1st place in the Internal Combustion Engine Prototype criteria, and 2nd overall winner in the prototype category. The second team, namely the Sadewa Hore Team, competed in the urban concept category for the gasoline MPD class and succeeded in winning the 1st place award for the urban production management and process design criteria, 2nd place for the urban vehicle design model criteria , and 2nd overall winner in the urban category."

"During the orientation to enter high school, I wrote my dream of becoming the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources 2045 on the tree of hope. That's because I am very enthusiastic about the petroleum and mining sector. Realizing that energy is the most needed thing by humans makes me want to continue learning to explore this knowledge so that I can contribute to the people of Indonesia. Until 2017, fate brought me to become a student of the undergraduate program at the UPer Petroleum Engineering Study Program. The experience of studying at UPer is one of the most interesting and tiring experiences in my life. Filling my free time with various activities really helps me in accelerating my self-quality because I believe that human beings are not measured based on material but are seen in terms of self-quality. This life principle is what motivates me to continue to progress and develop. I also instilled in the mentality that all humans are equal in the eyes of God, so that anyone can definitely achieve success. With the knowledge and various experiences that I have gone through, I was able to continue my studies at Petroleum Engineering (Petroleum Engineering) King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals with the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals International Scholarship fully funded by the government of Saudi Arabia."

"Working in the oil and gas industry is a dream for many people, including myself. Since childhood, I have had a strong desire to build a career in the oil and gas sector because the world of exploration and production of natural gas and oil is, for me, very interesting and full of challenges. "I realize that I gained a lot of valuable skills for my career during my studies at Pertamina University. "In the Computer Science program at Pertamina University, I learned a lot about the fundamentals of computer science, covering topics from data structures & algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, intelligent systems, to distributed systems. In the early semesters, I didn’t have a clear idea of which field to focus on. I started trying various things, including attending training sessions, participating in competitions, becoming a laboratory assistant, and assisting with faculty research projects. With the support of the campus, lecturers, and friends, I finally discovered my interest in the field of artificial intelligence. Some of the awards I have achieved include Best Paper at the National Seminar of Information Technology XVI at Tarumanegara University (2019), PKM-KC Grant Recipient from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (2019), and The 3rd Best Participant of Data Science Academy Compfest XI (2019). I also actively wrote papers and journals with my peers and supervising lecturers. Some of our papers and journals were successfully accepted and presented at national and international conferences. I started working professionally from internships to part-time jobs in my final year of study. Currently, I work as a Data Engineer at PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk and serve as Data Lead at Intiva. I am responsible for building data pipeline infrastructure for the company's big data analytics needs. The knowledge and experience I gained during my time at university have significantly helped me understand, conduct research, and explore the technologies that are currently and/or will be used. The habit of writing papers during my university studies has also helped me document my work results well."

"In the UPer Logistics Engineering Study Program, I found an interest in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Of the various courses available, I like the courses Oil & Gas Logistics, Maritime Logistics, and Data Analysis in the Field of Logistics the most. Not only classroom learning, we are also routinely given exposure to the industrial world through industry visits and guest lectures from experts in the logistics, energy, FMCG, etc. sectors. We are also directed to improve competence through nationally recognized training and certification programs. At UPer, various forms of support are available for those of us who are actively developing ourselves both on and off campus. On campus I chose to be active in student organizations and laboratories. "Being an alumnus of Geofiska Engineering UPer is an honor. Migrating from the district to the big city of Jakarta for me is a good decision to gain more experience. Moreover, being able to study at UPer is a blessing in itself, through the Economics Scholarship program I can enter UPer and then I also have the opportunity to get a PPA Dikti scholarship which is of course very helpful in the lecture process. UPer provides scholarships and internship opportunities in quite a lot of companies. The lecturers and the UPer academia community are also very supportive of their students. Student activities and competitions are also well supported. At HMTGF Orthonorm UPer, I often hold and participate in Geophysics Field Camp activities which are field activities applying geophysical methods. Starting with my internship in the Quality Control department at PT. PG Krebet Baru Malang, I am now working as a Quality Control Process Field at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing and ensuring the production process from the use of raw materials to the final product reaching consumers, maintaining the quality of the products."
