Applications of Extracted Chitosan from Shedding & Cocoons of Black Soldier Fly as Biosorbent for the Treatment of Industrial Wastewater

This study embarks on the following objectives:

a) To investigate the possibility of extracted chitosan from shedding and cocoons of black soldier fly to be a potential biosorbent.

b) To analyze the characterization of biosorbent from the parameters of specific surface area, porosity, electrostatic interactions related to the surface charge, etc.

c) To measure the adsorption capacity of biosorbent for dyes removal.
