Program Studi Kimia, Universitas Pertamina bekerjasama dengan Masyarakat Komputasi Indonesia dalam mengembangkan program komputasi berbasis Python, bernama Computational Material and Molecular and Material Design. Program yang dikembangkan mengefisiensikan penggunaan berbagai software open source untuk perhitungan molekul dan material maju.
