"In the Computer Science program at Pertamina University, I learned a lot about the fundamentals of computer science, covering topics from data structures & algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, intelligent systems, to distributed systems. In the early semesters, I didn’t have a clear idea of which field to focus on. I started trying various things, including attending training sessions, participating in competitions, becoming a laboratory assistant, and assisting with faculty research projects. With the support of the campus, lecturers, and friends, I finally discovered my interest in the field of artificial intelligence. Some of the awards I have achieved include Best Paper at the National Seminar of Information Technology XVI at Tarumanegara University (2019), PKM-KC Grant Recipient from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (2019), and The 3rd Best Participant of Data Science Academy Compfest XI (2019). I also actively wrote papers and journals with my peers and supervising lecturers. Some of our papers and journals were successfully accepted and presented at national and international conferences. I started working professionally from internships to part-time jobs in my final year of study. Currently, I work as a Data Engineer at PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk and serve as Data Lead at Intiva. I am responsible for building data pipeline infrastructure for the company's big data analytics needs. The knowledge and experience I gained during my time at university have significantly helped me understand, conduct research, and explore the technologies that are currently and/or will be used. The habit of writing papers during my university studies has also helped me document my work results well."

"Building a business is a target and vision that I have set since studying at UPer. There is a lot of material in the lectures that I can apply in starting this startup. Starting from project management, following best practices in building projects, and of course the science of entrepreneurship. Studying at Pertamina University gave me many opportunities to develop myself, increase connections, and enrich my experience. With the experience and knowledge I gained on campus and outside campus, I and five colleagues started building a business from scratch. Currently I am the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PT Jaya Pirata Dinamika (Intiva.id). A start-up company engaged in product development from system creation to ongoing maintenance."

"Many of the achievements I have reached are the result of support from my lecturers as my academic advisors and fellow students during my time at university. Starting from being the first representative of Pertamina University in the Outstanding Student Selection (PILMAPRES) to becoming 3rd place with my team at the Puspitek Innovation Festival. Additionally, thanks to the scholarship provided by Pertamina University, I had the opportunity to travel to Japan for the first time for an internship program at the National Institute of Technology, Akashi. My educational journey at Pertamina University has been holistic. The solid curriculum, combined with an environment that encourages my continuous development, has been a true blessing for me. Once again, with the knowledge and support I received, I was able to pursue further higher education in the Computational Color and Spectral Imaging program in three countries in Europe (Norway, Spain, and Finland) with an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree scholarship."

"It was an amazing experience for me to study at UPer. I have gone through various challenges during the process of "finding my identity" related to the career that I will pursue after graduating while studying at UPer. This was obtained by studying hard and participating in various activities outside the campus as a provision that can support my career in the future, such as participating in competitions and internships/part-time as a portfolio. It is a privilege for me because I am surrounded by a friendly environment and lecturers who are very supportive to move forward. I learned many fundamental things that have been very useful throughout my career, such as courses related to Programming, Databases, System Design, and Project Management that have been useful during my career as a Software Engineer; and Operating Systems, Computer Networking, Cryptography, and Cloud Computing which are also beneficial to my current career in the cybersecurity industry. "Penuh suka duka, rintangan, dan cerita. Berawal dari masuk kuliah yang dimulai dari kegiatan POP UP 2019, bertemu dengan teman-teman baru, lingkungan yang juga mendukung dalam pembelajaran dan berekspresi, dan masih banyak lagi hal-hal yang membuat saya semakin berkembang tidak hanya di potensi akademik melainkan di aspek softskill dan hardskill juga. Dibutuhkan kekonsistenan dan target yang jelas agar dapat menjalani masa belajar sebagai mahasiswa selama empat tahun dengan baik. Kini saya mendapatkan banyak kesempatan salah satunya penelitian yang alhamdulillah diantaranya sudah terpublikasi, selain itu kesempatan berkompetisi dalam memperoleh prestasi, dan juga kesempatan magang baik sebelum lulus maupun setelah kuliah. Pokoknya saya cukup bersyukur dapat kesempatan berkuliah di Universitas Pertamina yang meskipun dari segi umur tergolong muda, namun sekarang terbukti dari sisi historis prestasi dan pendukungnya, kampus ini dapat bersaing bukan hanya di level nasional apalagi PTN, namun juga di kancah Internasional! "Since high school, I have enjoyed creating computer applications and often participated in competitions in this field. One of the competitions I joined was LKKIUP 2016, which then led me to receive a scholarship at Pertamina University. During my studies, I honed both my hard skills and soft skills through various internship programs. I interned at several companies I dreamed of, such as Kudo, Tokopedia, and PT Citra Tubindo Tbk. I was also active in student organizations, both internal and external. Thanks to the knowledge and experience I gained both on campus and outside, I currently work as a Software Engineer in Engineering Productivity at PT Tokopedia (GOTO Group). I handle Research and Development and am responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the Tokopedia application."

"There are many challenges that UPer provides to students. The curriculum is international level and the assessment standards are very strict. It really helped me because the UPer lecturers were still young and competent and apart from having high hopes for students, they also guided me very well. However, in line with the enormity of the challenge, in the end I was able to learn a lot and achieve proud achievements so that I would not be left behind and be able to rise higher than others. There is a lot of knowledge and experience at UPer that has shaped my mindset and is now very useful in my career as a Senior Designer and Team Lead at work. "Being a part of Pertamina University has been a source of pride for me. Throughout my studies, I received very comprehensive learning materials. The lecturers at Pertamina University are also very supportive and competent in their respective fields. Although I faced difficulties and felt like I had chosen the wrong major during the first two years of my studies, I was able to recover and catch up thanks to the support provided by the lecturers in the Computer Science program. During my studies, I also had the opportunity to serve as a laboratory assistant for several courses and actively participated in the development of student organizations. Both experiences were strongly supported by Pertamina University. Thanks to the experience and support I received, I was able to participate in internship programs at Garuda Indonesia and the German manufacturing company Huber Inks.
