On September 20, 2016, a group of students who wanted to enhance their environmental awareness and improve the quality of human resources within Universitas Pertamina agreed to establish a nature lovers organization named "AKSAMALA." The name "AKSAMALA" is derived from Sanskrit, meaning "Symbol of Purity," which reflects the organization's noble and positive vision and mission. The activities of this student unit are not only focused on exploring nature and adventure but also on caring for the environment itself.
